Coach Davis is a product of Baldwyn High School where he played baseball for the late coach Hubert Tucker in the early 1970's. Since graduation in 1974, Coach Davis has been an active youth league and jr. legion coach.  He has coached competitive baseball in USSSA for 8 years. He teamed with coach Richard Hill of Saltillo to lead the Longhorns team to a USSSA state championship in 2006. 

 

Johnny is married to Karen Davis and they have one child, Bishop who is a sophomore  at Baldwyn High School and a starter on the Baldwyn Bearcat baseball team. Bishop was also an all state golfer and a member of the 2009-2010 State Champions Bearcat Golf team.
